Support Portal & WhatsApp Policy
This section explains how support requests and messages connected to Viduna Physics and Edumix are handled.
1. Scope of This Policy
This section covers support requests made through the Edumix learning platform at learn.viduna.lk, WhatsApp, and other connected communication channels. It also addresses support messaging handled through the WhatsApp Business API and relevant Meta platform requirements.
2. Information Collected for Support
A support request may contain your name, student index, phone number, email address, and other information needed to identify and resolve the issue. We may also receive the issue description, query category, screenshots or other files you upload, and the support conversation history.
For WhatsApp conversations, message contents, attachments, timestamps, and delivery information may be processed to send and receive support messages.
3. How Support Information Is Used
- Provide and coordinate student support
- Answer tickets and resolve technical or academic questions
- Improve the speed and usability of the support service
- Produce anonymised statistics that help educational institutes improve course delivery
WhatsApp messages are used to manage and respond to your enquiry. They are not used for unsolicited marketing unless you have explicitly opted in. Support messaging is intended to follow applicable Meta developer and WhatsApp Business messaging requirements.
4. Sharing of Support Information
Support information may be handled by approved technical integrations needed to deliver the service. We do not sell support messages or personally identifiable support information. An educational institute may receive anonymised, aggregated support metrics to improve its classes.
5. Facebook and WhatsApp Policies
Information obtained through WhatsApp is used for customer care and operational support. Message data is not sold or rented. Where the WhatsApp Business API is used, the support service is intended to follow Meta's platform terms, data protection requirements, and user opt-in rules.
6. Security and 7. Retention
Access to support records is restricted to people who need it to deliver support. Technical safeguards are used to protect information during transmission and storage. Support tickets are kept only as long as needed to resolve enquiries, address recurring issues, or meet applicable legal requirements.
